Hexham Gathering 2016

Cream Tees attended the annual Hexham Gathering for their third time, but for the first time this year, they stayed for the entire three-day weekend – from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd May.

On Friday, they supported Talisk at Allendale Village Hall with internationally renowned Northumbrian concertina player Alistair Anderson opening the concert. Saturday saw the young musicians performing around the town of Hexham, followed by even more energetic performances at the Big Ceilidh that evening! On Sunday, they joined 4th Generation, Sophy Ball’s Hexham-based youth folk band to perform in the Queen’s Hall.
